BIO: Hello Everybody! I want to start off by saying thank you for voting me as your 2017 Face of America! It would not have been possible without friends, family, and all of America! My name is Kristen, but everyone calls me Krissy! I am 31 years old and live in a small town in Ridgeway, VA. I spend my time volunteering at Ridgeway Rescue Squad as an EMT. I also am an Autism Awareness Instructor. I am a Coast Guard Veteran. I have participated in the 2015 Warrior Games. I am currently training to make the Navy/Coast Guard team for the 2017 Warrior Games. I was also on the 2016 USA Team for Invictus Games which was headed by Prince Harry. I am extremely honored to have the title 2017 Face of America. I never thought in a million years I would have this opportunity. My goal is to show young men and woman that modeling is more than just a pretty face. That you can come from anywhere and still achieve your goals. I have started at rock bottom, and have slowly worked hard to achieve my goals. All that is takes is motivation and determination and you can achieve anything. Don't quit if you don't succeed the first time; as your failures are steps to success. I look forward to seeing what this year brings.
